Outchef’d, Food Network’s next food show, will premiere on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 10:00 p.m. ET. Contestants will be included in the show without first auditioning. They will be shocked to learn that they were instantly accepted.

In the new Outchef’d series presented by Eddie Jackson, confident home chefs who believe they’ve auditioned are shocked to discover they’ll be competing against a top chef. These home chefs are thriving in their kitchens, but do they have what it takes to compete with the top experts in the culinary battle?
The network announced the show on August 25, 2022, stating that the show would begin with consecutive episodes. Entrants must not only cook for themselves, but also compete against some of the show’s best chefs for a grand prize of $5,000.

Eddie Jackson’s cooking show will have a catchy opening. In the first round, the contestants had to prepare a meal using a signature item. Eddie will take to the streets, looking for people to test recipes and rate them. Furthermore, the participants must get at least one vote from each of the six regulars who will rate their meal to win the tournament.
On the show, the contestants will face off against some of the best chefs in the industry, including Eric Adjepong, Anna Burrell, Maneet Chauhan, Scott Conant, Tiffani Faison, Amanda Freitag, Alex Guarnaschellio, Antonio Lofaso, Marc Murphy and Geoffrey Zakarian. Jane Latman, President, Streaming and Food & Family Content, Warner Bros. Discovery, speaking at the launch of Outchef’d with Food Network, said:
“This series is the last wish fulfilled for a Food Network fan who unexpectedly got the lead role.”
She went on to say:
“Some viewers watch cooking competitions and think, ‘I can do it!’” Outchef really challenged that by giving these phenomenal chefs a once-in-a-lifetime chance to compare. with a famous chef.

Who hosted the first season of OutChef’d?
Eddie Jackson, a professional football defender and American chef, placed seventh in Season 4 of the reality cooking competition show MasterChef in 2013. Eddie participated in Season 11 of Food Network’s Food Network Star. 2015. He beat 11 other contenders to win the season. . BBQ Blitz was Jackson’s first vacation as a food show host, as a reward for winning the Food Network Star.
