Outlander fans have been waiting years for Jamie’s secret son William Ransom to take center stage in this hit TV series – and it looks like he’ll be starring in the new episode! In an exclusive clip, William discusses the war with his cousin, in which he clearly thinks very differently about the American Revolution than his father did.
While his cousin was wretchedly standing in the street during their stay in Wilmington, William said, “Oh, come on, cousin don’t be so moody. We celebrate your new ministry, I’m still working. wait for my command… Well don’t let England languish here, in North Carolina. We will put down this rebellion once and for all. It will be glorious,” his cousin replied. the words, “I wish you were posted there with my William.”

HELLO! recently spoke with Charles Vandervaart, who spoke about the role of Jamie’s secret son – and his close relationship with his identity as a member of the aristocracy. ethnicity. He explained: “I think it shows how strongly William’s identity is tied to the hierarchy and monarchy in England, and how painful it would be to realize that his position in that whole structure it’s illegal. So when he found out that Jamie was his father, I don’t think he would go overboard about it.”

He added to UPI, “He clearly knew Jamie before [as a family friend], so they have such a relationship, but I think, at this point, he has no idea. He is a passionate guy, and this often manifests in anger and rage. He’s very emotional and I think that can be his weakness at times, but it’s also a quality of him.”
