HBO completed the story of the seven kingdoms with a fitting ending after a great run of nearly a decade. Although the ending wasn’t exactly what viewers were hoping for, given the sudden and unexpected twist at the end, the HBO series remains one of the most watched shows of all time. Paddy Considine is an English actor, screenwriter and director who began his career with director Shane Meadows, who cast him in his debut role in the 1999 film A Room for Romeo Brass. Considine’s outstanding performance landed him a role in Pawel Pawlikowski’s Last Resort the following year. Paddy Considine began his career in the business with various minor films in which he played several scene-stealing supporting roles. The actor appeared in films such as 24 Hour Party People (2002), Born Romantic (2000) and The Martins (2001).
Considine rose to fame playing Richard in the 2004 film Dead Man’s Shoes, which he co-wrote with his friend and director Shane Meadows. He is especially known for his role in Pawlikowski’s My Summer of Love (2004). Paddy Considine’s other notable films include 2005’s Cinderella Man, 2007’s Hot Fuzz and 2007’s The Bourne Ultimatum, in all of which he appeared in supporting roles. His most notable works were Red Riding: The Year of Our Lord 1980 (2009) and Submarine (2010).
Tyrannosaurus (2011), Considine’s feature directorial debut, won him the BAFTA Award for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer. All about the House of the Dragon
House of Dragons, based on George RR Martin’s 2018 novel Fire and Blood, will delve into the history of the Targaryen family. Set around 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the prequel series will focus heavily on the wealth and politics of the Targaryen family.
The story will take place against the background of the heinous civil war that broke out among the Targaryens, popularly known as the Dance of Dragons. The series will debut on HBO’s streaming platform on August 21, 2022. Watch the trailer here:
