Panera bread helps you stay warm (and full) this winter!
To celebrate National Soup Month this January, the chain of fast food restaurants, bakeries and cafes is offering a delicious range of bowl meals.
“Enjoy a cup of soup for just $1 with your main course. When you order through the app, for a limited time only! Use code: SOUP,” their website currently says about the offer. Savings on soup cannot be combined with any other promotion.

In addition to the $1 soup deal, the company also announced Wednesday that two new Sourdough Melts — the Bacon Avocado Melt and the Southwest Chicken Melt — will be coming to the menu. Both start at $8.99 each.
The Bacon Avocado Melt is made with applewood smoked bacon, fresh avocado, smoked gouda, bagel spice mix and chipotle aioli on toasted sourdough. Customers can also pick up the full-flavored Southwest Chicken Melt, made with smoked sliced chicken, smoked gouda, red onion, cilantro and chipotle aioli on toasted sourdough.

“Just in time for National Soup Month, it’s the perfect season for guests to cozy up to the new Sourdough Melt and complete their meal with a cup of their favorite Panera soup for $1 – an incredible value to start the year,” said Panera Bread’s Brand SVP Building Drayton Martin is in the statement.
“At Panera, we pride ourselves on being sandwich experts – and our team of chefs and bakers have taken our grilled cheese to new heights with new sandwich melts featuring the perfect combination of flavors,” added Martin.

The new solutions are also available on Panera’s “You Pick Two” deal menu advertised on their company website. The promotion allows customers to choose any two entrees, including soups, salads, sandwiches and more.
“The new Sourdough Melts are made with Panera’s signature Country Rustic Sourdough, expertly toasted to showcase the comforting flavor of a classic grilled cheese that pairs perfectly with Panera’s signature soups this National Soup Month,” the company said in a press release.

This month’s money-saving promotions don’t end with soups!
As the company celebrates the launch of its new Sourdough Melts and all things carb-related, Panera is giving away 1,000 free Sourdough Melts on the Panera app with the code BREADSOGOOD on January 17th for National Kick Your Decision Day. No purchase necessary, but customers must be a MyPaner member to receive the offer.
