Paras started his career with minor construction jobs. He gave floor tiles to other entrepreneurs.
He used to sell imitation jewelery in local trains in Mumbai at Chawl in Ambewadi, Kalachowka.
He achieved success in the 1990s from Paras Gundech in Kalachowki, where he got a real government brokerage project.
He was awarded the Bawlawadi Chawl renovation project in 1989-99.
He later associated and allied with Pramod Jathar, who is a former MP from Kankavali constituency in Ratnagiri.
He contested the Assembly elections from Kalachowki Sewri constituency on a Samajwadi Party (SP) ticket against Shiv Sena’s Bala Nandgaonkar, who later joined Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena in 2014. He lost this election.
