Paris Fashion Week Just Put on Its Most Outrageous Show of 2024: See All the Jaw-Dropping Photos

Designer Robert Wun presented a horror-inspired collection at Paris Haute Couture Week that’s jaw-dropping — and we can’t stop looking at the photos.

The best of the best in fashion unveiled their spring/summer 2024 creations in the City of Light, and on Thursday, Wun showcased arguably the worst of them all.

The Hong Kong-born, London-based courtier – whose creations were worn by Beyoncé, Tracee Ellis Ross and Noah Cyrus, who attended the show – is known for his fearless imagination. He has previously shown taboo imagery and concepts on the runway, such as knives as accessories and a burnt wedding dress (a look worn by Rawdah Mohamed at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival).

This time, Wun’s creations were a crossover between wardrobes American Horror Story and bug juice, culminating in one grand array of fake blood splattered pieces, umbrella hats, claw manicures and more.

Spooky meets marriage

If you look closely, the model’s blood-stained dress and veil are intricately decorated with jewel-like red decorations. In addition, this means that white wedding socks will dominate the trends in 2024.

Tons of all-black leather-look ensembles hit the runway, including this corset dress with billowing vampy sleeves and pointed shoulders, paired with a long matte black manicure. Pièce de résistance — a black mask that causes shock.

Couture on the brain

Wun completed one of his looks with a creepy accessory: a white hat made to look like a brain, as interpreted by fashion commentator @hautelemode. Adding to the drama: a glittering artificial tear stained with blood trickles down the model’s cheek.

Another dress that stood out was this design with flame motifs spreading across the sheer bodice, on the gloves and all over the face.

Wun is an expert in bold headdresses. The arm-over-the-eye design was paired with a sculptural white dress with huge floral spray appliqués.

All Red

Red is having a moment everywhere, from the runway to the red carpet. Here, Wun showcased the popular color with her glam à la slicked-back hairstyle adorned with red jewels, crimson clawed nails and smudged ruby ​​lipstick.
