During college, she started modeling for various fashion designers. As a teenager, Parul was discovered by a film producer at a fashion show. He offered her an advertisement for a chocolate brand, which she accepted.

Parul started her acting career with the Tamil film Dreams in 2004, where she played the role of “Charu”. She then acted in the Malayalam film Krithyam (2005). In 2012, Parul acted in Kannada films, playing the role of “Rani” in the film Bandhu Balaga.
