Paul Vallas was born on June 10, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, into a Greek-American family. The politician did not reveal the names of her parents. His parents were also Greek immigrants who immigrated to the United States. Vallas grew up on the South Side of Chicago in the Roseland neighborhood. He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and lived in Palos Heights during his adolescence.
Vallas graduated from Carl Sandburg High School and attended Moraine Valley Community College. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Western Illinois University and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
