Pawn Stars' Rick Harrison Says He Second Guesses 'F—ing Everything' 1 Year After Son's Sudden Death: 'Nothing Worse'

For over a year after his son Adam died of drug overdose at 39, reality star shared that the loss had influenced his life. In the examination of his appearance on Deep with Graham BensingerHarrison explained that he was still mourning.

“I’m thinking about him every day,” he said. “In his twenties, he had drug problems. I mean, God, I put him so much in rehab and every time he was great, and then he would just come back. I mean, you heard the same story of a million people, and that became real, really bad, and obviously wasn’t heroin – he eventually killed him.

Adam died on January 19, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and since then, Harrison revealed that he wondered how things could be different.

“The thing is, when you lose your baby, others hit everything,” he admitted. “It’s like,” I could have done it? Could i do that? Could I have done that? Could i do that? “And it’s like going through your brain. [think] about him. ”

“I mean, I think I did everything right,” he added. “You just sit in your head,” What if I did it? What if I do it? “You know what I mean? [drugs]?? I mean, you have a hundred things. There is nothing worse than losing a child. ”

Harrison then remembered the time when Adam “killed” his house and didn’t know what to do.

“I realized that maybe he would put him in jail for two months, he would clean him, but he just went straight to him,” he said. “You are trying to give him hard love, but, God, you just never see how they are coming. You want to give them hard love and everything, but I never thought it would happen.”

“It’s hard,” Harrison remarked. “There is no book with instructions with children. All of them are different models.”

Now the owner of the gold store and the silver of the councilor has told the councilor that he is trying to focus on positive results in his life, such as his two other sons, Jake and Corey and his four grandchildren.

“[You have to] Appreciate what you got, because it’s not that you won’t always have it, “he explained.” I spend as much time with my children as possible. I talk to my kids on the phone almost every day. I love my children, I love my grandmothers. You enjoy life. I mean, I literally know guys who have 10 times more money like me, and I do everything right, who are miserable. ”

Harrison then discovered the biggest lesson he learned from the experience of the tragedy: “It’s easy to enjoy life. It’s really. Just don’t be around people who are miserable and just enjoy life with your family and friends and everything. It’s really not that hard to be happy.”
