Marriage
Nasheed married Tariq Nasheed, her true love, in 2014. They dated for many years before tying the knot. They have four beautiful children: three boys, Mateo, TJ and Asir Nasheed, and a little girl, Amira. Amira, their daughter, was born in 2022. During a relationship podcast, Nasheed said that most relationships revolve around and are based on non-verbal communication, saying that he and his wife don’t communicate, but their vibe is great.

He started working in modest studios because he hoped to be a producer of hip-hop songs. In addition, he dabbled in various other ventures, including a small rental car business and other side hustles. He said he will research dating and relationships by visiting Los Angeles and other places around the world and observing how people interact in different areas. He became interested in it and decided to study the art of the game. He’d read all the books and give relationship advice, mixing what he learned from the books with what he learned from the players, and then they’d hook up and he’d start as a game counselor.

Nasheed began his career as a rapper, then as a dating guru under the pseudonym K-Flex, before moving on to making documentaries. Nasheed’s mother grew up watching activist H. Rap Brown and the Black Panthers, so she would tell him stories about the protests going on in Detroit at the time, but he was too young to understand. Later in his adolescence, when he went to Birmingham, Alabama, he did not enjoy the intense systemic racism, so he left and moved to Southcentral, Los Angeles, but he did not find change there either.
This inspired him to continue with his goal of fighting bigotry and trying to replace it with a just society. The Isis Papers of Dr. Frances Cress motivated him and encouraged him to make the film. In 2010, when he was on holiday in Sydney, he discovered no evidence of Aboriginal people, and the natives inquired about it with the locals, who did not respond. Their actions also inspired him to come up with a project to influence hidden history, which led to the creation of the most popular black history documentary series, “Hidden Colors,” a series about black history and white supremacy.
He used his own money to produce the series. According to Nasheed, the series ran for about two and a half hours and they expected a standing ovation, but the film took off, becoming the best-selling black historical series of all time.
