Pete Davidson Attends SNL After Party with Madelyn Cline: ‘They Seemed Very Lovey’ (Exclusive)

Pete Davidson enjoyed a public date with Madelyn Cline on Saturday.

The SNL alum, 29, hosted the Season 49 premiere of the cult series on Saturday, and Cline, 25, joined him for the official after party at Catch Steak.

“They seemed very lovely, very sweet, but they kept it low-key,” a source told PEOPLE exclusively about their appearance at the party.

Despite the couple “not being very social,” the source added, “[Davidson] stayed quite late. He was there until after 4am”

The pair appear to have been trying to keep a low profile in the footage taken outside the party. They kept their heads down as they walked in next to Cline’s friend, Ozark actress Sofia Hublitz.

Davidson put on the tracksuit he wore to close the episode SNLwhile the ladies wore all black combinations.

The couple were joined at the after party by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce after the NFL star appeared in the SNL sketch about the attention surrounding his rumored romance with Swift. The singer presented the second performance of the show’s musical guest, rapper Ice Spice.

Cline’s arrival on Saturday comes just weeks after she was seen with Davidson in Las Vegas at his stand-up show. The Foreign banks star and host began dating in late September, and multiple sources have confirmed the new couple to PEOPLE.

News of their romance came shortly after Davidson and actress Chase Sui Wonders called it quits in August after less than a year of dating.

The split also came after the comedian completed his rehab this summer, when he underwent voluntary mental health treatment to address issues related to post-traumatic stress disorder and his previous diagnosis of borderline personality disorder.

In March, Bupkis star, who has dated several high-profile women including Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski, has been candid about the interest in his love life.

“I’m not, like, flexed, you know what I mean? And those people I was dating, I met at work,” he told Jon Berthnal on Real podcast. “I wasn’t in anybody’s DMs, nobody was in mine. All of a sudden you’re in this zeitgeist and it has nothing to do with work. And it’s a really s—y feeling.”

Cline, meanwhile, was recently linked to producer Zack Bio after she divorced him Foreign banks actress Chase Stokes in November 2021. Despite the breakup, the actress continued to play romance with Stokes in the popular Netflix drama.

During Saturday’s episode SNL, Davidson sang a self-deprecating parody of “I’m Just Ken” from Barbie movie. The sketch included the line: “I’m just Pete, anyone else I’d be a three, but I guess I’m warm to guys in comedy, because it’s an ugly industry.”

His appearance on the show was originally supposed to be in May. However, a strike by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) forced the cancellation of the episode.

Second episode of SNLSeason 49 will air Saturday, October 21st at 11:30pm ET on NBC. Rapper and singer Bad Bunny is scheduled to host and perform music.
