PGCET Result 2023: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is expected to release the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2023 soon.With the release of the revised answer key, the KEA PGCET result is likely to be released by this week. However, an official update is still awaited. Candidates can download their rank list online from the official website of PGCET Result 2023: kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

To access their results, they must use their social security number and date of birth. The Karnataka PGCET 2023 results will be available in the form of a score card, which shows the marks and ranks secured by each candidate. Separate merit lists and PGCET rank lists for MBA, MCA and MTech are prepared based on the results.

How to Calculate Karnataka PGCET 2023 Marks?

KEA calculates Karnataka PGCET exam results based on the said marking scheme. According to the grading scheme, one point is awarded for each correct answer. How Karnataka PGCET Rank List is prepared?

Admission to PGCET is based on the rank secured by the candidate. For allotment of ranks, KEA will first calculate the PGCET marks of all the candidates based on the marking scheme. They are allotted the Karnataka PGCET rank based on the marks obtained in the examination. KEA assigns a rank to each candidate according to their merit score. Those with the highest marks are ranked #1 in the PGCET exam. The candidate with the second best score will receive rank 2.

  • KEA will publish KEA PGCET result in online mode only. The Karnataka PGCET Results will include the ranks and marks scored by the candidates in the entrance exam
  • A separate merit list has been released for the candidates who have appeared for the Karnataka PGCET and GATE respectively
  • Candidates who get higher marks than the cutoff will have a better chance of admission
  • They will be offered admission to their desired programme/course based on the ranks/marks obtained, choices entered and availability of seats during the Karnataka PGCET counseling and seat allotment process
