Phillies Fan Gets Body Slammed by Security After Celebrating Team’s 10-0 Victory Over Diamondbacks

A fan who ran onto the field after the Philadelphia Phillies’ 10-0 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks was hit by a security guard – and the Phillies bullpen was there to catch it all!

As security tackled the man, members of the pitching staff ran onto the field to celebrate the decisive victory that saw the home team take a 2-0 series lead over the D-backs.

At least two Phillies pitchers showed their own glee by jumping up and down and throwing their hats in appreciation for the arrest.

IN various accounts on social networks, the man was severely beaten and then seen taken into custody. At the moment of impact, the fans reflexively roared at the breach of protocol.

“Boom,” one man could be heard screaming, while others laughed at the incredible sight.

Equally exciting – at least for Phillies fans – is the state of the NLCS, where the team is two wins away from returning to the World Series for a straight year.

Last week, the Phillies enjoyed another kind of raucous celebration as they celebrated a 3-1 NLDS win over the Atlanta Braves.

At a champagne and beer locker room party, players wore oversized goggles to fend off the seemingly endless flow of adult liquor.

After manager Rob Thomson’s toast, Phillies players Bryce Harper, Trae Turner and rookie pitcher Orion Kerkering were among the ecstatic group, as they jumped around to the team’s “Dancing on My Own” song.

While Kerkering paid tribute to his star first baseman by wearing an “Atta Boy Harper” T-shirt, catcher Garrett Stubbs and others donned overalls — which coincidentally became another type of uniform for the team.

Even other Philly sports stars got in on the celebratory action, Philadelphia Inquirer reported. Eagles defensive end Fletcher Cox, along with teammate Jordan Davis, were seen congratulating right outside linebacker Nick Castellanos, while the 76ers’ Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey were also on hand to spread goodwill, the newspaper reported.

And since the team reached the NLCS, even more stars have joined the cheer — for Game 1 on Monday, Travis and Jason Kelce led the Phillies to a 5-3 victory.
