While the power of the golden Pikmin remains undiscovered Pikmin flower, the player can collect all kinds of different hidden decorative Pikmins for the yellow variant. Players can unlock special outfits by exploring the world around them. If a yellow Pikmin is spotted at a nearby location such as a hair salon or zoo, they will search around that location for a costume themed outfit. The player then needs to upgrade their golden Pikmin Friendship to level 4 to receive this bonus.
