Piyush Goyal was born on 13 June 1964 in Mumbai, Maharashtra (age 60 years 2024). His zodiac sign is Gemini. He was educated at Don Bosco High School, Mumbai. In 1984, he pursued his Bachelor of Commerce from HR College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. In 1991, he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Government Law College, Bombay. Afterwards, he was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in New Delhi and secured the second rank in all India. He participated in numerous leadership programs at universities including Yale, Oxford, and Princeton. Goyal holds the FCA certificate; a certificate obtained by a Chartered Accountant after completing 5 years of practice.
Before entering politics, Goyal was an investment banker. He has served on the boards of banks such as State Bank of India (2001-2004) and Bank of Baroda (2002-2004).
