Plabita started her career as a singer with her band Manu & Chow. She then started acting in television commercials for various brands including Paytm, Britania, Paper Boat, CaratLane, Tata Sky and Livon. Plabita made her debut in 2014, playing the role of Anushka Sharma’s sister. She then played the role of ‘Rehana Abidi’ in the film ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’.
She has also acted in the films Waah Zindagi and Chhote Nawab.
