During her college years, she acted in many plays such as “Foolish Dancer”, “Behind Desire”, “Panic Day” and “Raja Rani la Gham Hava”. In 2016, she appeared in the drama “Amar Photo Studio” directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari and starring Amey Wagh, Sakhi Gokhale, Suvrat Joshi and Siddhesh Purkar. It is the first Marathi drama to explore time travel and won the third runner-up position in the Maharashtra Professional Drama Competition 2017.

Pooja made her television debut with Zee Marathi’s daily soap “Dil, Dosti and Duniyadari” (2015). She plays the role of Anna Matthews. The serial won several awards at the Zee Marathi Utsav Natyancha Awards 2015. In 2017, Zee Marathi launched the sequel of the serial “Dil Dosti Dubara” in which Pooja played the role of Anandi. Apart from this, she also acted in the Hindi film “Rangrezz” and the short film “Pahili Bhet”.
