Indian model Poonam Pandey died awya on the morning of February 2, 2024 at the age of 32 from cervical cancer. Her manager took to her social media account to announce the news of her death. In a statement, her manager said:
“This morning is difficult for us. It is with deep sadness that we inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam Pandey to cervical cancer. Every living form that came into contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of sorrow. We would seek privacy while fondly remembering her for all we share.”

Poonam Pandey was a popular social media star who worked in several Bollywood films and rose to fame for her controversial posts on X. She was initially known for promising to strip for the Indian cricket team, but she did not follow through on the promise.

Poonam Pandey’s ex-husband, Sam Bombay, was born on January 27, 1984 in Dubai. His full name is Sam Ahmed Bombay. He belongs to the Indian film fraternity. He is a director, producer, editor and businessman. He finished high school at Jebel Ali School in Dubai. He graduated from the University of Dubai.
Poonam’s husband Sam joined the advertising and communications industry at the age of 21 and by the age of 28 had become the creative director of Y&R, Dubai. At the age of 32, Sam became a partner and Regional Executive Creative Director of Y&R Brands for the region.
He later quit his job to start a film and photography company, Studio Central. He runs his own production company Bombay Matinee Films. He directed a short film called King of The Ring which was released in 2017. He directed the music video for Gal Ban Gayi.
Poonam Pandey’s husband’s arrest, separation
Poonam Pandey filed a complaint against her husband on September 11, 2020, alleging that he abused and assaulted her. Her husband was arrested on September 23, 2020 in Goa. The entire incident took place while she was shooting for a film at Canacona Village in South Goa. However, her husband was released on bail, but their marriage was dissolved.
