The day of February 2, 2024 began with the shocking news of Poonam Pandey’s death. She died of cervical cancer at the age of 32. Her team issued an official statement in which her manager confirmed the news of her death.

The statement states,

“This morning is difficult for us. It is with deep sadness that we inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came into contact with her was greeted with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would like to request privacy as we remember her fondly for all we shared.”

Manager Poonam Pandey revealed that the model had passed away from cervical cancer.

Poonam Pande was born on March 11, 1991 in Kanpur, India to parents Shobhanath Pandey (father) and Vidya Pandey (mother). Her father is an Indian businessman in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

She filed a complaint against her husband on September 11, 2020, claiming that he abused and assaulted her. Her husband was arrested on September 23, 2020 in Goa. The entire incident took place while she was shooting for a film at Canacona Village in South Goa.

Poonam Pandey was arrested on November 5, 2020 in North Goa for filming a nude video on government property. The incident took place after the Goa Forward Party filed a complaint against her alleging that her video was an attack on the women of Goa. On 18 January 2022, the Supreme Court of India protected her from arrest.

Poonam Pandey has appeared in many films including The Uncanny, Nasha, Love Is Poison, Adalat, Malini & Co, Aa Gaya Hero, GST – Galti Sirf Tumhari and The Journey of Karma. She appeared in four TV shows titled Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 4, Total Nadaniyaan, Pyaar Mohabbat Ssshhh and Lock Upp.
