Pradeep Uppoor (1958–2023) was an Indian film producer, best known for co-founding the television production company Fireworks Productions, which produced the police procedural television series from 1998 to 2018 “CID”. He died of cancer on March 13, 2023.

He died of cancer on March 13, 2023, while undergoing treatment in Singapore. After his death, CID actor Shivaji Satam took to social media to condole his demise and wrote:
Pradeep Uppoor, (Producer, Pillar of CID)…a dear friend who always smiles, is honest and forthright, generous…a long and wonderful chapter of my life follows yours Call it quits, boss…love & miss you buddy. “

- In 2017, when a rupee robbery case occurred, he reported it to the Juhu police station. He has 1.2 million rupees in his family. He discovered the incident when his wife discovered in a wardrobe that cash and decorations were missing from the home. In an interview, a source spoke about the FIR and said:
The complainant received the complaint on Friday night and discovered cupboards in the unit had been opened. She became suspicious, checked her belongings and discovered cash and jewelry had been stolen. The police learned that Rs 9 lakh in cash was missing from the house and ornaments worth over Rs 3 lakh were also missing. We have been scanning CCTV footage from the premises for clues about the incident. “
