Prashant Damle was born on Wednesday, April 5, 1961, in Mumbai (age 62 years; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Aries. He went to the Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya in Mumbai. Later, he studied at Bombay University. He used to participate in stage shows organized in his school and college. While studying in college, he was offered a role in a Marathi drama called “Tur Tur”. His performance in that play was a breakthrough role for him and he started receiving acting offers to work in Marathi commercial theatres.

He began acting in theaters at the age of 17. After making his debut in Marathi theater with the play “Tur Tur”, he played the role of a college student in the comedy “Moruchi Mavshi”. During his struggling days, Sudhir Bhat, founder of Suyog Productions, invited him to play the lead role in his comedy-drama Bramhachari. He has acted in many famous Marathi dramas including Gela Madhav Kunikade (1993), Lekure Udand Jhali (1995), Priyatama (1996), Eka Lagnachi Pudhchi Goshta (1999), Amhi Doghe Raja Rani” (2003) and “Olakh Na Palakh” (2008).
