Brittany and Patrick Mahomes cheered on the football team they co-own!
On Saturday, September 7, the current co-owner of Kansas City, 29, shared a photo of herself with her husband, 28, on her Instagram stories as they cheered on their women’s soccer team as they played against the Utah Royals at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
“Let’s go!” the future mother of three children wrote in the post.
In the photo, the pair rocked Current merchandise with both wearing red T-shirts emblazoned with sponsor information, with Brittany also sporting a team name hoodie. They also wore matching KC caps in the team colors of bright blue, red and white.
The team’s Instagram account also shared the photo on their feed, writing: “Thanks for the support bosses 🫶.”

Brittany then shared a video on her Instagram Stories, showing her and the Chiefs quarterback standing in the stadium as she eats something off a napkin. “I’ve never been to a stadium that has better food than we do at @cpkcstadium,” she captioned the video. “And…I’m going to need more of these apple pies.”
KC Current won the home game against the Royals 1-0.
In January 2023, Patrick said he was investing in the sports team, writing at the time: “Grateful for the opportunity to join @brittanylynne as part of the @thekccurrent ownership team.”

Brittany shared her joy in a team statement, writing: “We are so thrilled that this is becoming a family affair and that Patrick is joining as an owner. He has been a huge support behind the scenes. His passion for Current is undeniable and I am delighted that he will be with us as we continue on our journey to become the best in the NWSL.”
