Cardi B shares new details about recent medical scare.

Speaking on X Spaces on Thursday, August 8, the pregnant rapper, 31, accurately described how she felt “paralyzed” and “couldn’t move for two days straight” after previously sharing that she had a “freak accident” almost led to pregnancy loss.

– I was going down the stairs and I slipped a little – explains the singer of the song “I Like It”. “I practically fell, but I was trying to stop myself from falling, so I held on to the fence. My foot slipped though and I kind of broke.”

Cardi B reveals she had ‘freak accident’ that left her ‘paralyzed’ and almost caused pregnancy loss: report

She adds that after the fall, “I felt a strange jolt, like a bang, and I couldn’t get up.”

After “screaming” for her dad, he ran over and “tried to help me up and down the stairs.” Despite his efforts, Cardi says, “I noticed that I couldn’t walk, like I had a pain in, I don’t know, my lower abdomen.”

Cardi notes that she’s carrying her baby-to-be “a little low,” so she’s used to feeling “a little sore” in that area and decided to take a nap after the fall.

However, Cardi says, “When I woke up, I couldn’t move my butt at all. Like, just moving my feet hurt my lower abdomen. I couldn’t move. I felt like I was paralyzed.”

Unable to move and began to panic, the singer was taken to the hospital by ambulance, where she “found out that I had torn a ligament in my pelvis in the place where my baby’s head is.”

I dilated and had contractions every two minutes for a full 24 hours, the mother of three continues. “They had to monitor me and I was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t move for two days in a row.”

Cardi adds that in the end the doctors “sent me home” and “not only did they put me on bed rest, but I had to go to therapy.”

“So stop playing with me. I’m not even the type of person to overdo anything,” she tells those who criticized her for asking for more morphine from the hospital earlier. “You don’t even know what the hell is going on or what I’m going through.”

Cardi initially announced the pregnancy news on Instagram on Thursday, August 1, just one day after she filed for divorce from husband Offset, 32, after six years of marriage. The former couple has a son, Wave Seto (2½), and a daughter, Kulture Kiari (6).
