Gypsy-Rose Blanchard chose a new style more than halfway through her pregnancy.
On Monday, September 16, the mom-to-be, 33, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories showing off her baby bump at nearly 22 weeks.
“Bump update 💕. 21 weeks + 5 days,” she wrote in the text on the photo.
In the photo, she smiled widely as she posed in a gray T-shirt and pink Nike shorts while holding her baby bump.

In addition to Monday’s news, Blanchard shared a photo alongside her boyfriend, Ken Urker, on Sunday, September 15. The parents-to-be embraced each other as they posed in all-black dresses for what appeared to be a night out.
The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star blew out her blonde hair into long hair, prompting one follower to ask her if she had gotten extensions, which she confirmed.
She also informed one user that she had a “very healthy pregnancy.”

The recent hairstyle change follows a series of hair transformations she has made since her early release from prison on December 28. She served seven years in prison after pleading guilty to her role in the murder of her abusive mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.
A month after being released, she cut off eight inches of her hair, which she said she would donate to The Great Cut. In March, she opted for the blonde look for the first time and got golden blonde locks accented with icy blue hair color. Two months later, she returned to her “natural” black hair color. Then, in July, Blanchard debuted a slightly shorter bob cut and dark blonde locks.

That same month, Blanchard announced in a YouTube video that she was pregnant. Since then, she has kept followers updated on all aspects of her pregnancy, including changing her wardrobe to accommodate her growing baby and reading books on motherhood.
In August, the parents-to-be announced they were having a baby girl with a sex reveal involving balloons and confetti.
Most recently, on Tuesday, September 3, the couple shared a photo of her latest ultrasound in a joint Instagram post.
“Our sweet girl 💕for our 20-week ultrasound. She’s growing and measuring beautifully. #pregnancy #girl #newmama,” they wrote along with the ultrasound picture of the baby’s head, arms and hands.

Shortly after announcing she was pregnant, she spoke with PEOPLE about how she plans to approach motherhood.
“All the things I wanted from my mother, I want to give this baby. My mother told me I would never get married, raise a family, have children or do any of that. So to be here, standing on my own two feet and expecting my first baby , it’s something I’ve achieved as an achievement and a personal goal.”
“I want to be kind, for my children to come to me for any advice, just like my stepmother [Kristy Blanchard]. I saw how she raised her children – and I think she’s a real mom,” she said.
