On Monday, May 25, 2020, she hanged herself from a ceiling fan at her home in Indore. She was found dead by her family on May 26, 2020. She left a suicide note but did not mention the reason for her suicide. She was reportedly depressed; as she had no work during the coronavirus lockdown.
