Taylor reportedly went bankrupt due to unpaid bills, which has now been settled.

According to the Mail, his missed payments were due to an “administrative error” and not deliberate attempts to avoid payment.

The former Leeds ace, who declined to comment on the matter, is believed to have no serious financial problems and has since settled his debts.

It is claimed that the High Court is close to overturning his bankruptcy.

Taylor has been a regular for Burnley this season.

He started 16 of Vincent Kompany’s side’s 20 games in the Premier League.

He was also in action as the Clarets crashed out of the FA Cup losing 1-0 to Tottenham last night.

Taylor helped Burnley return to the Premier League last season.

At the end of their title-winning campaign, Leeds attempted to re-sign their home-grown ace.

However, the full-back decided to stay at Turf Moor and has taken advantage of playing regularly in the top flight.
