Earlier, she was arrested by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) in 2018 on a complaint of Indian film financier Vashu Bhagnani for cheating Rs 31.6 crore.

- In 2016, Prerna Arora founded KriArj Entertainment, a production company, along with her father and family friend and business partner Arjun N. Kapoor. However, the production company ceased operations in 2018. Later, she started another production company called Mandiraa Entertainment.
- Prrna Arora’s family was once the owners of the famous Kamla Grand Circus, named after her late grandmother. The circus business was later sold to Apollo Circus, but her family still has a small partnership in it.
