Tanya Tucker has re-released her new album, “While I’m Livin’,” after a 15-year hiatus. The singer said in an interview that she doesn’t consider her comeback a comeback because she wasn’t abused like the heat that comes back every few years, but she didn’t leave. The singer said that before this album she was in a state of free fall. It was Shooter Jennings who put her in a position to record her new album.
Shooter introduced Tanya to Brandie Carlie and they both talked her into coming back to the studio. She was hesitant at first, telling Shooter that she didn’t believe she could do it. Shooter then reminded her of when she swore she would do anything in the world for him, so she said OK and went to her “While I’m Livin'” record.
