Preyen Dewani is a British lawyer best known for being the brother of Shrien Dewani, who was accused in the 2010 honeymoon murder of his wife. Preyen’s sister-in-law Anni Dewani was killed in a carjacking on their honeymoon with Shrien Dewani on November 13, 2010 in South Africa.

Statements during Anne’s murder trial
Preyen Dewani became the detective for her brother Shrien Dewani during Anne’s murder trial from 2010 to 2014. Preyen was the first person to receive a call from Shrien Dewani after his taxi was hijacked in South Africa. In a statement from Preyen Dewani, he raised the question: Anni Dewani’s name was not involved in the life insurance policy, so Shrien’s motive for killing did not exist at all. he asks,
