Special puppy is a little love from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Invictus Games.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Curling Curling event on February 9, 2025, where they met Ali Harper and Thorn, a three -year retriever black Labrador who supports mental health for the first answers in Yukon. The interaction made Prince Harry remember Guy, Beagle who saved Meghan from a 2015 Kentucky shelter that recently died.
“Harry came exactly and sat down right next to Thorn and knelt down and began to pamper him and told him how much he missed the dog,” Harper, 43, says exclusively. “And thank you very much for what we do with Thorn.”
She adds that Meghan also had “a little interaction with Thorn, and then we managed to take a group photo.”

Thorn is Harper’s first official dog, and they support athletes and their families at Invictus Games. “We had a lot of feedback from athletes and VIP -ai families exactly what it could do to support,” he says, “because there are a lot of people who have their own personal dogs, but they have not” managed to bring them and therefore that happens. ”
As he met the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex was the “peak of his journey”, Harper says Thorn “really enjoyed” the opening ceremony on February 8th, which contained performances by Katy Perry, Chris Martin, Noah Kahan and more.
“He had a good figure immediately after everyone, that’s for sure,” she says. “He was a little tired!”
“But that’s what he does. He likes to meet new people and just work with them when they fight and can give that little comfort,” Harper adds.

Prince Harry and Meghan spend a lot of time with the athletes of Invictus Games during their stay in Canada, as well as some of their young fans. During a wheelchair’s basketball match between Team USA and Team Nigeria, February 9, the couple met 10-year-old Wyatt Hutchison, who plays basketball in a wheelchair. They came after the boy called Harry “which is loud,” says his mom Lindsay Hutchison, People says.
Wyatt described Harry and Meghan as “nice” and said they were talking about sports.
“Opportunity once in life,” Lindsay says. “He’s a little star!”
