Princess Anne reveals intensive care emergency after horror accident as she thanks staff who saved her life

Princess Anne thanks the staff who saved her life after a certificate of visiting an intensive care unit.

Anne said to medical crews at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, which were involved in the care of her after the incident in June 2024: “Unfortunately, I have no huge memories of being here.

“I just know I worried really well, so thank you.”

Then the Buckingham Palace said that the princess “remains at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a measure of observation caution.”

Anne described that “every day is a bonus” after suffering a brain earthquake and less head injury.

On a recent tour of South Africa, the princess noticed the incident: “It just reminds you, shows you – you never know, something (happening) and you may not recover.”

She walked the hallway of the critical care unit, encountering the staff in various pods of intense care, while the machines could be heard occasionally as they sound.
