Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have a 2-year-old!
Edo, as Princess Beatrice’s husband is known, shared a special post on Instagram on Monday to celebrate their daughter Sienna Elizabeth’s second birthday. The never-before-seen photo shows Sienna from behind, walking outside wearing a floral dress (one of her mom’s patterns!) and a sombrero.
“Happy birthday baby girl. You bring us so much love and joy every day,” the proud father captioned the photo.
Sienna was born on September 18, 2021, just over a year after her parents married in July 2020 in a scaled-down wedding to fit the COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time.
Her middle name is a tribute to Queen Elizabeth, Princess Beatrice’s grandmother. Beatrice also chose a name that includes a few thoughtful nods to her mother, Sarah Ferguson (or “Fergie,” as the Duchess of York is affectionately known), including the shade of curls that mother and daughter have.
“They were looking for an Italian name that starts with an S for Sarah, in honor of the Duchess, while also reflecting the rust gold and hair colors the Duchess and Beatrice share,” a source previously said. Hello! magazine.

Sienna’s birth made Ed’s son from a previous relationship, Christopher Woolf (affectionately nicknamed Wolfie), a big brother. In a post released shortly after the new arrival, Beatrice and Edo said: “We are all doing well and Wolfie is Sienna’s best big brother.”
Sienna is currently 10th in line to the British throne, right behind her mother.
Sienna’s birthday celebration comes shortly after the family’s exciting announcement. Earlier this month, Edo revealed that his younger brother Alby is engaged.
“🌟 So happy for my little brother Alby and Chelsea! 💍 Finding that special someone is truly the greatest blessing in life. The news of your engagement fills my heart with so much happiness. We wish you both a life full of love, laughter and endless adventures! ❤️”, wrote Edo on Instagram with a photo of his brother and future sister-in-law.

With Alby and Chelsea’s wedding on the family calendar, it’s possible Sienna and Wolife will star at the party! It’s in July Daily mail reported that Sienna served as flower girl and Wolfie as page boy at the wedding of Phoebe Williams-Ellis and Raoul de Lantsheer, which was attended by Beatrice and Edo.
While the nuptials likely marked Sienna’s debut in a wedding role, Wolfie has been in the limelight for weddings before. Ed’s son took on the role of best man and page boy when his dad married Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter three years ago.
