Early Dutch copies of Scobie’s venomous Endgame suggested that Kate and Charles were the two royals who made the remarks about the skin color of Harry and Meghan’s first child, Archie.
Kate avoided tonight’s storm as she dazzled in a long-sleeved Monaco Blue dress with sparkling diamond jewelery – while William wowed in a velvet tuxedo.
Earlier today, the couple were all smiles as they posed at Windsor Castle, alongside Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden.
It was the first time Wills and Kate have been seen since the royal “racist” row sparked by Omid Scobie’s book Endgame.
The photos were taken just moments after the author doubled down and claimed he had never named the royals amid the growing storm.
He also lashed out at Piers Morgan after the host revealed who two members of The Firm were involved in the Dutch version of Endgame.
Piers told his TalkTV show last night: “I’m going to tell you the names of the two royals that are listed in that Dutch version of this book.
“Because frankly, if Dutch people wandering into a bookstore can pick up and see these names, then you Brits here who actually pay for the British royal family… You have a right to know too.
“And then we can have a more open discussion about this whole farrage.
“Because I don’t believe anyone from the royal family has ever made any racist comments.
“And until there is actual evidence of those comments, I will never believe them.
“But now we can begin the process of finding out whether they were ever said, what the context was, and whether there was racial intent at all.
“Like I said, I don’t believe there was.”
Earlier this week, it was revealed that a bombshell book claimed Meghan had named two people she accused of raising concerns about Archie’s skin color in letters to the king.
In the English version, Scobie says that British law does not give him names.
But the passage in the translated version in the Netherlands lacks the legal pronunciation and names two members of the royal family instead.
The first was discovered on Tuesday, and the second on Wednesday.
Scobie told This Morning: “I wrote and edited the English version of the book with one publisher, which is then licensed to other publishers.
“Obviously I don’t speak Italian, German, French, Dutch or any other language that came out.
– I’m frustrated like everyone else.
He added: “I never handed in a book that had their names in it. I can only speak for my version.
“I’m frustrated, but I wouldn’t say I’m upset about it.”
Because of this, Piers labeled him a “smearing liar”.
Tonight, translator Saskia Peeters claims the manuscript she received has the names of royals “in black and white”.
Speaking from her home in Arnhem, Netherlands, she told MailOnline: “I didn’t add them.”
Another of the Dutch translators, Nellie Keukelaar-van Rijsbergen, told The Sun that it was “unfair” that they were being accused of anger.
Speaking from her doorstep in the small town of Schijndel, Nellie said Omid had left her confused.
She added: “We’re professionals and we’ve been doing this for years, both of us. It’s unfair.”
It comes after King Charles was seen smiling from ear to ear as he continued his trip to Dubai as usual.
The monarch, 75, is in Dubai to meet world leaders at the COP28 environmental conference as his family faces even more shocking allegations against them.
President Tinubu shook hands with Charles and asked, “How are you?”
The king, in a tan suit, took his seat and said, “I’m fine, about.
“I recently had a rather ancient birthday recovering from that shock.”
