Priscilla Presley is still dealing with the death of her daughter Lisa Marie Presley.
The actress and former wife of Elvis Presley, 78, revealed she is still struggling to come to terms with Lisa Marie’s untimely death aged 54 as she attended a Q&A in Las Vegas on Friday ahead of the premiere of the Sofia Coppola film. about her early life and marriage to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, titled Priscilla.
“It’s not easy. It’s still not easy,” Priscilla said of Lisa Marie’s death in January. “It’s still unbelievable and you have to go through it yourself … I have to be there for her.”
Noting that the last time the mother-daughter duo was together was at the Golden Globes, where they cheered for Austin Butler’s lead role in Baz Luhrmann’s film ElvisPriscilla recalled, “We were in the audience, holding hands and pushing Austin.”

“Obviously he got it and we celebrated and it was such a great time and a great memory because two days later she passed away,” she continued. “So it was great that we got to spend that time together.”
“She left me with a lot of good memories,” added Priscilla.
Lisa Marie — born in Memphis, Tennessee on February 1, 1968 — was the only child of the marriage of Elvis Presley and Priscilla. After his death in August 1977, Lisa Marie finally became the sole heir to his estate and also inherited her father’s Graceland residence.

During her Q&A appearance, Priscilla also delved into her relationship with her granddaughter, Riley Keough, with whom she reached a settlement agreement Wednesday over Lisa Marie Presley’s estate.
“We’re very close. I don’t care what you read in the paper, we’re very close. In fact, we celebrate Thanksgiving together,” Priscilla said. not true at all.”
“Riley and I have never had a problem,” she continued. “We’re here to support the family and keep the family together.”
Under the settlement approved by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, Priscilla would receive a $1 million lump sum payment funded by Lisa Marie’s $25 million life insurance policy, her son, Navarone Garibaldi, would be the beneficiary of Lisa Marie’s trust, and she would be buried in near her ex-husband at Graceland after her death.

In an August interview with vanity fairKeough, 34 — who welcomed daughter Tupelo Storm last year, named after her grandfather’s birthplace — also made it clear that things have worked out with her grandmother.
“Things with grandma will be happy. They were never happy,” she said. “There was a bit of an upheaval, but now everything will be as it was.”
She added: “She is a beautiful woman and was a huge part of my grandfather’s creation [Elvis’] legacy and graceland. …It is a big responsibility that she tried to take on. None of that had ever really been a part of our relationship before. She was just my grandmother.”
