Priscilla Presley Pays Tribute to Lisa Marie Presley 2 Years After Her Death: 'I Miss You More Than Words Can Say'

Priscilla Presley remembers Lisa Marie Presley.

On Sunday, January 12, Priscilla, 79, took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late daughter, who died on January 12, 2023. She posted a video of Lisa Marie with dark music.

“I miss you more than words can say,” she wrote in her heartfelt caption. “I wish I could hug you, talk to you, see your smile just one more time.”

“I wish you could see how much you are still loved, how much you are missed by all of us who carry you in our hearts,” added Priscilla, before signing off as “mom.”

Lisa Marie’s daughter, Riley Keough, also remembered the singer-songwriter on the anniversary of her death. Keough, 35, shared a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Lisa Marie on his Instagram Stories with a heart emoji.

Navarone Garcia, Lisa Marie’s half-brother, also posted about her on Instagram on January 12. “Sending love and thinking of you today,” he wrote.

Lisa Marie, Elvis Presley’s only child, died in January 2023, a few days after attending the Golden Globe Awards. She was 54 years old.

For months before she died, Lisa Marie had prolonged fevers, nausea, stomach pains and vomiting. She was rushed to the hospital on January 12 due to possible cardiac arrest.

Lisa Marie ultimately died as a result of complications stemming from bariatric surgery she underwent several years ago, according to an autopsy report obtained by PEOPLE.

“It is with a heavy heart that I have to share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla shared in a statement to PEOPLE the day Lisa Marie died.

“She was the most passionate and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for your love and prayers. There will be no further comment at this time.”
