Her father mentioned in interviews that they went hiking together every weekend. As a former student of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Lokesh had the knowledge and skills to guide Prisha on her treks. She has trekked to various places including Sinhagad, Lohagad, Visapur, Karnala, Sondai, Kothaligad, Prabalmachi, Kalawantin and Raigad. She also climbed Kalsubai Shikhar at the age of three. On October 31, 2021, she achieved an extraordinary feat by scaling the highest peak of Kalsubhai in Maharashtra at the age of 3 years, 11 months and 22 days in 3 hours and 16 minutes. Her father shared the achievement on Better India’s social media page, writing: “As far as we know, she may be the youngest girl to climb Kalsubhai.”
Alongside the announcement, a photo was shared of Prisha holding up a blue placard with a powerful message about giving every girl a good start and encouraging They reach the top.
On June 20, 2023, she set a record by becoming the youngest mountaineer to reach the base camp of Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak. She completed this task at the age of 5 years, 11 months and 22 days. In 12 days, she managed to reach an altitude of 17,598 feet (5,364 meters). In an interview, her father spoke of her trek, saying:
Prisha landed in Lukla (Nepal) and started trekking with him on May 24 and reached Everest Base Camp on June 1, 2023 proudly carrying the Indian flag before returning on June 4, 2023 Lukla (Nepal). This is an extremely difficult high-altitude hike and many hikers experience breathing difficulties, headaches and acute mountain sickness, but Prisha handled these difficulties well. “
