Priya Nath started her professional software engineering journey in 2009 when she started working at a global technology company called Harbinger Systems. While working there, she was an active member of the development team for a proprietary offline player for e-learning courses and designed and developed multiple prototypes for emerging technologies. In 2011, Priya Nath started working as a software engineer at Accenture, an Irish-American professional services company. While at the company, she created an internal iOS library for communicating using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and developed prototypes for customers. In 2013, Priya joined a Hyderabad-based product development company called “SECURIFI” where she was responsible for developing iOS and Android apps.

In 2012, Priya Nath became a faculty member at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and she started teaching in the Bachelor of Computer Applications program at Nagindas Khandwala College, a partner college of IGNOU . In the same year, she started teaching practical courses in C++, Visual Basic, HTML and Assembly Language Programming and other computer science courses at Mithibai College, Mumbai.
