Priyadarshi Pulikonda is an Indian actor, comedian, writer and film director, primarily working in Telugu films. He came to limelight with his role as Kaushik in the Telugu romantic comedy Pelli Choopulu (2016). He is known for his versatility and comedic timing.

When Priyadarshi was two years old, his parents moved to Hyderabad. He grew up shuttling between cities, moving from Hyderabad (the old city) to Gachibowli and Chandanagar. As a child, he was a staunch believer in science and logic. Priyadarshi studied for Bachelor of Science in Statistics from MNR Degree & PG College, Hyderabad, Telangana. Thereafter, he obtained a postgraduate degree in Mass Communication from the University of Hyderabad. After watching the Telugu film Sagara Sangamam, he became interested in acting and joined the college’s drama group. Later, he attended Aruna Bikshu’s acting school. Talking about the same in an interview, Priyadarshi said,
I was seven years old when I saw Sagara Sangamam and decided to become an actor. This is a paradigm shift for me. I am a big fan of Kamal Haasan and Chiranjeevi. I watched a lot of movies of K. Balachander, K. Vishwanath and Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. Aruna Bikshu taught me how to learn and unlearn and then I gained experience from short films. “

Priyadarshi Pulikonda started his acting career in 2016 with the Telugu film Terror. He came into limelight after playing the role of Kaushik in the 2016 Telugu film Pelli Choopulu.

Following the box office success of Pelli Choopulu, Priyadarshi played an Iraqi Tamil refugee trapped in the ISIS war in the Malayalam film Take Off (2017). In the same year, he appeared in many popular Telugu films such as Ghazi Raid (simultaneously shot in Hindi), Winner, Arjun Reddy, Jai Lava Kusa and Spyder; Played supporting roles in all films. He subsequently played supporting roles in Telugu films Awe (2018), Nela Ticket (2018), NOTA (2018) and Mr. Majnu (2019). In 2019, Priyadarshi played the lead role of Chintakindi Mallesham in the Telugu film Mallesham. Mallesham, airing on Netflix and directed by Raj R, is a biopic about Chintakindi Mallesham, the inventor of the Asu machine, which reduced the manual labor of Pochampally weavers.
