Kabaddi has always been a traditional game that has been rooted in our society for centuries. On the other hand, Mashal Sports and Disney Star have turned this traditional game, which was previously played exclusively by children in small alleys, into a national event by introducing the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL).
The league not only brought a professional touch to the sport but also provided a platform for talented players to showcase their skills and gain recognition at the national and international levels.

Since its inception in 2014, the league has gained immense popularity in recent years, with the inaugural season attracting 435 million viewers, just a few million less than the IPL. The tenth edition of the tournament is scheduled to begin on December 2, 2023. Here are the details:

List of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2023 players
The player auction for PKL 10 was held in Mumbai on October 9 and 10. Pawan Sehrawat who became the most expensive player in PKL history after being sold by Tamil Thailavas for a whopping Rs. 2.9 crores was secured for a whopping Rs. 2.6 million from Telegu Titan.

Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2023 Points Table
Winning the match will award 5 points to the winning team, while the losing team will receive 0 points. If the match ends in a draw, then both teams will get 3 points. If two or more teams end up with the same points, then the team with the higher score will be placed on the points table.
The points table for PKL 10 2023 will be updated when the Kabaddi league starts.
Where to watch Pro Kabaddi League 2023?
Vivo Pro Kabaddi League will be telecast on Star Sports Network and will be available in different languages. Alternatively, the matches can be streamed live on Disney + Hotstar.

Every PKL season is full of exciting and intense matches, which showcase the strength of kabaddi players, and this season will be no different. The defending champions are the Jaipur Pink Panthers who won the championship twice, in the inaugural season and in the 9th season. On the other hand, Patna Pirates have won the championship the most number of times; they won three consecutive seasons (seasons 3, 4 and 5). Will the Panthers be able to defend their title as current champions? Or will the Pirates bounce back and claim their 4th title? Or will some other team shine this Pro Kabaddi League season? We’ll have to wait until December to find out.
