LORRAINE Kelly’s shared her joy after her daughter announced she had given birth to her first child.
Rosie Kelly-Smith and her fiance Steve White announced today that their daughter Billie Kelly Smith-White was born on August 29th.

Rosie posted a photo on Instagram in which she announced her arrival, and the little child grabbed her mom’s index finger.
The photo was quickly shared by daytime TV presenter Lorraine, who shared her delight at becoming a grandmother for the first time.
“I am OVERWHELMING to share this wonderful news with you!” Lorraine wrote.
“Baby Billie is an angel and I’m so proud of her [Rosie] and [Steve] who will be the best parents.
“I’m thrilled to be Grandma Smith and can’t wait to go on adventures. #love#joy#happiness#family”
Lorraine’s TV pals were quick to take to the comments to share their congratulations.
Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid wrote: “Big big love to you all, especially precious little Baby Billie.”
“Awww happiest days ever!!! I’m so thrilled for you all,” Ranvir Singh wrote, while Kate Garraway added: “Wonderful wonderful news!!!!”
Denise Welch said: “Wonderful news. Being a grandparent has changed our lives xx”

“It seems like she’s been here the whole time and we’re not really sure what the purpose of anything was before.
“I’ve heard the midwives are amazing, but they are truly walking angels – she’s already been welcomed into the world with so much love.”
Rosie has kept her followers up to date with her pregnancy, even sharing a glimpse of the baby’s nursery last week.
On Instagram, Rosie shared a video of a neutral room already filled with children’s books, full toy boxes and baby clothes.
In April, we reported that show host Lorraine was set to become a grandmother for the first time after Rosie revealed she was expecting her first child.
In another video, Rosie revealed that she had even plasticized her birth plan and had her hospital bag ready since mid-August.
Lorraine even shared how she was so excited to become a grandmother that she made a nursery in her own home for when the baby arrived.
