Queen bee. Watch the female bee dance elegantly and powerfully

Sara Mapelli, the self-proclaimed queen bee, performs a meditative dance to help people overcome their fear of insects.

As a former dancer, I can say I’ve had to wear some weird outfits while performing, including one that looks like Hershey’s giant kiss and another that looks like it came out of Dr. Seuss. However, I have never had to wear a bee.

For Sara Mapelli, it was completely natural to wear bees to perform. The queen bee wears 12,000 queen bees to communicate with nature and show other bees that they shouldn’t be afraid of bees. She did a meditative dance carrying bees four times.

Mapelli attracts bees by capturing the queen and placing her in a breathable box around her neck (like a necklace). Its scent attracts other bees to land on Mapella.

Although she tried to stay calm during the experience, Mapelli admits it was difficult because the bees were trying to cling to her and their humming was quite loud.

Those who have seen the dance of the Mapelli bees call it peaceful and powerful.
