I don’t just have one thing to thank him for, I have many things to thank him for. The first thing I want to thank is that his response must have lifted the spirits of Adnan, Rabi and Hadiya. Nothing compares. They want to work more seriously on their dreams. God has given you a gift; don’t let it go to waste. “

Rabi Ahmed appeared on the fifth season of Coke Studio with his bandmate Adnan and collaborated with the Butt brothers on the season’s 14th song “Neray Neray Vas”. The song was originally a mellow song written by Rabi and Adnan in the mid-2000s and was later transformed into a gorgeous bhangra style song using Harmonia, Tumbi, Matka and Chimtas. Rabi clarified in an interview that he and his bandmates decided to transform the original mellow and soulful song into an energetic one because they did not want to be labeled as a Sufi band.
