Rachel “Raquel” Leviss is pulling back the curtain on her breakup with businessman Matthew Dunn.
The Vanderpump Rules The alum, 29, revealed on the latest episode of her podcast, Rachel goes roguewhy she had to end things with Dunn – who she confirmed she was dating in April – after about a month.
In the episode, which aired on Friday, June 28, Leviss said Dunn told her “one thing,” but his actions said another.
“I asked him not to post on social media because it’s too early for a relationship,” she said. “We dated for a month.”

But after they went to a music festival together in April, Dunn updated his Facebook profile picture to include Leviss, forcing VPR star to publicly confirm that they are seeing each other.
“The media got wind of it and that was the whole thing,” Leviss explained, adding that she “had to end it,” which, she said, “was hard.”

“It was sad because we had a good relationship, a good conversation, and he was emotionally stable and emotionally intelligent,” she continued. “Obviously, it’s standard stuff, but it was new stuff for me.”
As for why Dunn decided to share the photo when she asked him not to, Leviss said, “It just seemed like maybe he had some impulse control issues, because we agreed not to — or he wanted to post how would show me off.”

In April, Levi’s publicist told PEOPLE that the star’s romance with the businessman was still in its early stages.
“It’s a little too early to switch to any label,” her rep said at the time. “They met a little over a month ago and are friends who are just getting to know each other. They met and are hanging out.”
The news that Leviss is dating Dunn comes more than a year after her affair with her ex made headlines VPR Costar Tom Sandoval went public — and not long after the television personality opened up about his decision to take a break from the relationship in the time that followed.
“I don’t date for a year, and by doing that, I’m just focusing on myself and after this conversation, I’m focusing on my emotions that come up, like what are my own needs that I need to meet, and not adding another person to the equation, so it’s just focused on me and other people, and my friends and family and the people that are in my inner circle that are safe friends,” she said in the January episode Rachel goes rogue.

Leviss told PEOPLE in February that after being at the center of the scandal, she learned the importance of self-care.
Reflecting on the height of the Scandoval drama, the reality star said: “It was a very difficult time for me. At times I felt like I wasn’t going to make it through, so I’m so happy to see the light at the end of the tunnel and finally reintegrate into the real world.”
“I’m proud of how far I’ve come,” she added. “I’ve worked very hard to put my mental health first and to put myself first.”
