The couple got married on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. According to sources, there was a “no gift policy” at the wedding. Also, Mirni was limited to Rs 11; Mirni is a tradition where the bride’s relatives give gifts and cash to the groom and his family.

Profession
In 2012, he joined the Awami League Party (AAP) and soon after joining, he became the party’s treasurer and was appointed as an advisor to Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in 2016.
He was assigned to assist Sisodia in preparing the 2016-17 budget and was paid Rs 1 crore per month. In 2018, he contested from the South Delhi assembly constituency in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He lost to BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri in the elections. In February 2020, he contested from the Rajinder Nagar constituency in the 2020 Delhi assembly elections and defeated BJP candidate RP Singh.

Termination of advisory role to Manish Sisodia
In April 2018, the then Home Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, terminated the appointment of Manish Sisodia as an advisor. In a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs, he mentioned the date of appointment, the tenure for which he served; and refunded Rs 2.5 crore for the 75 days he served as an advisor. He added, “
I accept retroactive termination for the 75 days I served two years ago.”

Named in Delhi liquor policy case
On May 2, 2023, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) released the second supplementary chargesheet in the Delhi liquor policy case, in which Raghav Chadha’s name was mentioned. According to ED officials, Raghav Cahdha’s name appeared in the chargesheet after C Arvind, a former secretary to former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, revealed that Mr. Chadha was present at a meeting held at Manish Sisodia’s residence in Delhi, where Punjab Excise Commissioner Varun Roojam, Vijay Nair, an accused in the case, and other officials of the Punjab Excise Department were also present.
Suspension of seats in the Federal Council
On August 11, 2023, Raghav Chadha was suspended from the Rajya Sabha for allegedly forging signatures of four MLAs on a motion regarding the Delhi Services Bill. These MLAs, Sasmit Patra, S Phangnon Konyak, M Thambidurai and Narhari Amin, claimed that Chadha had added them to the House panel without their permission. The suspension motion was moved by Piyush Goyal, Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha, and will reportedly stand until the Privileges Committee concludes its investigation. However, Chadha claimed that only the names of the MLAs were proposed to be included in the panel and since there was no signature involved, there could not have been forgery. He added that those who do not want to be a part of the committee have the option to withdraw their names. Raghav Chadha said,
Whenever a controversial bill is introduced to the House of Representatives and a member wants to discuss it in detail before voting, he recommends that it be sent to a special committee. The member’s name is nominated to be on this group. Those who do not want to be on the committee can withdraw their names. How can it be forged if there is no signature? “
On December 4, 2023, the suspension of Raghav Chadha was revoked by Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar based on a motion moved by BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao. On the same day, Raghav announced the revocation of his suspension on social media.
