In an interview, talking about the inspiration behind the fashion collection, Rahul said:

RKXC was inspired by my own accessories collection! And my experience purchasing items for it. I believe everyone should have a few pieces in their wardrobe that are timeless, will last a lifetime, and actually have qualities that can be passed down to the next generation. However, when I want to add specific new items, I find it easy to find gorgeous accessories with embellishments or patterns, but that’s not the case with classic, high-quality basic pieces. So I started assembling what I thought were the building blocks from which a modern Indian could build a world-class accessories collection. ”

  • Rahul Khanna describes himself as a “boutique Bollywood actor” and when asked about the reason behind he said:

I live part of the year in India and the rest in the United States. I’ve been doing this my whole life. Whenever anyone in America knows that I’m an actor – and because of how big the industry is here – they naturally jump to the conclusion that I’m extremely prolific, making five movies at a time. I had to explain to them that I wasn’t actually doing that much work. As a result, everyone started using the word “boutique” because they used it to describe investment houses or hotels that were somewhat closed and niche. ”
