- In 1994, he became the winner of the first Indian Gradrag Manhunt and was awarded the title “Mr. India”. India. ‘ Later, he represented India in the 1994 International Manhunt competition and finished fourth. The competition was held in Greece.

- Before becoming an actor, he worked as a stunt double for Shah Rukh Khan in the films Karan Arjun (1995) and Duplicate (1998).
- He revealed in an interview that many of his scenes from the 2003 Bollywood film “Koi…Mil Gaya” were edited out. He was also left out of film promotions. He added that the incident left him disappointed, after which he decided to leave the film industry and move to Vancouver, Canada.
- In 2015, when he returned to the entertainment industry after nearly ten years, he changed his name from “Rajat Bedt” to “Raj Singh Bedi”. In an interview, he talked about it and said:
My father always wanted to call me Raj, but my mother changed it to Rajat. Since this is my second inning in this industry, I want to change my name to Raj. Moreover, it has always been a lucky name in the industry. “
