Ralph has been teaching for a long time. He oversees the percussion department at the Los Angeles College of Music and writes curriculum for Drumchannel.com. He and Joe Porcaro developed the drum curriculum for the Hollywood-based Institute of Percussion Technology. He performs in the renowned Steven Bates Band in his hometown of coastal Mendocino County.
