Ramandeep Singh was born on Sunday, April 13, 1997, in Chandigarh, India (26 years old; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Aries. Growing up, he loved sports; however, he fell completely in love with cricket after watching the Indian team win the T20 World Cup in 2007.
His father wanted him to become a cyclist and gave him a bicycle imported from China to practice; however, Ramandeep was determined to become a cricketer and his father agreed and helped him hone own skills. He completed his schooling from Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh. While studying in school, he started participating in regional and state-level tournaments and later pursued a career in cricket.

Ramandeep Singh started training under coach Sukhwinder Tinkoo and was later selected for the Mohali Under-16 team for the 2012 Punjab Inter-District Championship where he scored two hundreds. He subsequently represented the Mohali U-19 team in the Punjab U-19 Inter-District Championship in 2016. In 2017, he represented Mohali team in the Catoch Shield tournament.
He made his T20 debut for Punjab on 29 January 2017 against Haryana in the inter-state T20 tournament at Nadaun, Himachal Pradesh and scored 6 runs. In 2018, he represented the Punjab U-23 team in the BCCI U-23 One-Day League and won the championship. He made his debut for Punjab in Group A (single day) on 5 October 2019 against Vidarbha in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Vadodara, Gujarat.
He made his first-class (Test) debut for Punjab on 12 February 2020 against Bengal in a Ranji Trophy match at Patiala, Punjab, and was dismissed in the first innings, The innings scored 69 runs not out; however, Punjab lost the match.
Indian Premier League (IPL)
He was acquired by Mumbai Indians for a base price of Rs 20 lakh in the 2022 IPL season as a replacement for Suryakumar Yadav. He made his IPL debut on 21 May 2022 against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. 13 points from 6 balls.
Ramandeep was acquired by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs. The price of the IPL 2024 auction to be held on December 19, 2023 at Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai is Rs 20 Lakhs.
