Ramita Jindal was born on Friday, January 16, 2004 in Ladwa, Haryana (age 19, 2023). Her zodiac sign is Capricorn. She attended Agsain Public School in Kurukshetra. Ramita Jindal received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Hansraj College, Delhi University in 2024. She began her sports shooting journey when she was in eighth grade at the age of 13. She was trained by coach Jagbir Singh at the Karan Shooting Academy in Ladwar, Haryana. Later, she received professional training at GFG (Gun for Glory) Academy in Chennai.

During her school days, Ramita Jindal finished second and third in district and state level competitions, which earned her a spot in the national competition. She won a bronze medal in the CBSE National Championships in 2019 held at SS International School, Kunjpura Road, Karnal. Ramita won a bronze medal at the 2021-22 Junior World Championships in Lima, Peru, followed by a gold medal and two silver medals at the 2022 International Junior World Cup.

  • In an interview, she had revealed that Indian women’s strikers Elavenil Valarivan and Anjum Moudgil were her sources of inspiration. she says,

    When I started shooting, I only saw Anjum di, Ela di. After getting to know them, I got to know Mr. Abhinav. My entire family doesn’t have a sports background. “
