Rashmika Mandanna was born on Friday, 5 April 1996 (27 years old; as of 2023) in Virajpet (Virajapete), Kodagu, Karnataka. Her zodiac sign is Aries.
She received her education from Kodagu Coorg Public School (COPS) and then went to Mysore College of Commerce and Arts for her pre-university course. After completing her studies, Rashmika studied Psychology, Journalism and English Literature at MS Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Bangalore. While in college, she won the 2014 Clean & Clear Fresh Face competition and began working as a model.

Rashmika Mandanna started her modeling career in 2014 by participating in the Clean & Clear Fresh Face of India competition. In the same year, she became the Clean & Clear brand ambassador. Next, she bagged the title of TVC in Lamode Bangalore’s Top Model Hunt. Her photos from the competition caught the attention of the producers of the movie “Kirik Party,” who asked her to star in the film.
Rashmika made her acting debut in the 2016 Kannada film Kirik Party, playing the role of ‘Saanvi Joseph’. The film was a huge hit and became one of the highest-grossing films of the year. She next starred in two commercially successful films, Anjani Putra and Chamak.
In 2018, Rashmika made her Telugu film debut with the romantic drama “Chalo”. The same year, Mandanna starred in the romantic comedy Geetha Govindam, which became one of the most profitable films in the history of Telugu cinema.

- On January 16, 2020, the income tax department conducted a raid on the house of Rashmika Mandanna on suspicion of tax evasion. Around 15 income tax officials arrived at her home in Kodagu to conduct a search and seizure operation. Interestingly, Rashmika was not at home at the time of the search.
